• Who We Are

Working with a team of committed volunteers, our staff includes Dr. Bill Sasser, Lisa Summerlin, Elijah Melendez, Ann Martinez, and Jamie Ayers.

  • What We Do

We provide dental treatment for individuals whose options for care are restricted due to financial issues and the absence of insurance. The clinic can only operate due to the generosity of patients and donors.

  • Why We Do It

We operate to the glory of God in response to a call to help and love those among us in need. In addition, by mentoring dental students and residents, we seek to train the next generation of dental volunteers.

Appointments for cleanings, fillings, and new patient screenings are available Monday-Wednesday.

Call (843) 740-7114 to make an appointment.

Toothache emergencies (extractions) are seen on a walk-in, “first-come, first-served” basis Tuesday evenings (beginning April 2nd) and Thursdays. No appointment is needed for emergencies, but please arrive before 5pm on Tuesdays and before 8am on Thursdays.

Donations Requested

Services offered by the clinic would typically cost hundreds of dollars in a private dental office. Each year, we render over $1,000,000 in treatment to patients.

By working with volunteers and community partners, our average cost to render care is $127/patient.

Patients are asked to contribute towards the cost of their treatment. A minimum contribution of $25 (or more!) is kindly requested at your appointment.
